Fallows replaces Prodromou as head of aero at Red Bull
Red Bull Racing have today announced the appointment of Dan Fallows as the team's new Head Of Aerodynamics. Dan will take up the role with immediate effect.
"Dan has worked as part of the team’s aerodynamic department for many years. Previously working as a Team Leader (Aerodynamics), he left the team for a short time last year. He has now returned to Infiniti Red Bull Racing to begin working in his new role."
Red Bull also confirmed the departure of Peter Prodromou who previously held the position.
"We can confirm that Peter Prodromou has commenced a period of gardening leave; we would like to thank him for his valuable contribution during his time with the team."
Prodromou's future at Red Bull was unsure as he was confirmed to be on his way to McLaren in October last year. Still, reports later suggested he had changed his mind. With the current announcement it is now a matter of time before the aerodynamicist is officially confirmed at another team.

The statement however was soon countered by McLaren who announced at their car's launch that Fallows would be joining them.
"Dan Fallows has a legally binding contract with McLaren, and the matter is now in the hands of our lawyers," said a spokesman for the Woking team.
Red Bull on their behalf said Fallows left his post as Aerodynamics Team Leader last year but has now returned to take up his new job.
For Prodromou though, the move appears to be solid now, as Red Bull now confirms that its former Head of Aerodynamics left the team.

Appeal lodged by the Österreichischer Automobil-Motorrad und Touring Club – Oberste Nationale Sportkommission für den Motorsport (ÖAMTC-OSK) on behalf of its licence-holder Infiniti Red Bull Racing against the decision N°56 dated 16 March 2014 of the FIA Stewards of the 2014 Australian Grand Prix counting towards the 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship
On 16 March 2014 the panel of the stewards decided to exclude car N°3 (driver Daniel Ricciardo) from the results of the race as it was found to be not in compliance with the Technical Regulations (the Technical Delegate reported to the Stewards that car N°3 exceeded the required fuel mass flow of 100kg/h).
On 20 March 2014, the Österreichischer Automobil-Motorrad und Touring Club – Oberste Nationale Sportkommission für den Motorsport (ÖAMTC-OSK) on behalf of its licence-holder, Infiniti Red Bull Racing, decided to appeal this decision before the International Court of Appeal
Decision of the International Court of Appeal
The Court, after having heard the parties and examined their submissions, decided to uphold the Decision N°56 of the Stewards by which they decided to exclude Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s car N°3 from the results of the 2014 Australian Grand Prix.
The International Court of Appeal was presided over by Mr Harry DUIJM (Netherlands), and included Mr Rui BOTICA SANTOS (Portugal), Mr Philippe NARMINO (Monaco), Mr Antonio RIGOZZI (Switzerland) and Mr Jan STOVICEK (Czech Republic).
The full decision will be available on the website by the end of the week.

vidc je napisao/la:zanimljiva situacija... sad FIA bukvalno može kontrolirat tko će biti koliko brz na utrkama. kad hoćeš nekog usporit ubaciš mu senzor koja pokazuje više nego što je stvarna potrošnja i obrnuto...
mislim da nije moguće i da im se ne isplati jer ako takav 'škart' senzor pokaže da se do kraja utrke potrošilo 110l a momčad na kraju utrke pogleda u rezervar i po vaganju bolida se pokaže da je realno popio 85l onda bi sljedila tužba.
