Eto od kuda prijetnje odlaskom. Čisto mafijaško ugnjetavanje. Kao i inače kada im nije išlo. Teško da bi ferrari napustio f1.

'ajde ovo je još i dobro...ne može mu se osporiti da jednim svojim djelom F1 ne ide baš u dobrom smjeru...ono što bi trebalo raščlaniti u svemu tome je da li je problem "zeleno i štedljivo" (što po meni nije problem) ili nešto drugo - prevelike zabrane, ograničenja svih vrsta koja su postala totalno kontraproduktivna i ne dozvoljavaju momčadima da se međusobno sustižu i/ili prestižu - tko je na početku sezone dobio najboljeg konja to je to, kraj prvenstva...s obzirom kakve su ucjene ranije dolazile ovo je sasvim pristojno i pametno rečeno, ja ne vidim u ovome ucjenu već samo pokušaj spašavanja svega ovoga od gubitka zarade i navijača koji im ju donose...

F1 departure is 'pure speculation' - Ferrari

Scuderia Ferrari have released a statement on their website, denying reports that the Italian marque may be considering a departure from Formula One and instead go racing at Le Mans.

Ferrari President Luca Di Montezemolo reportedly said it may be an option for the company, following ousting his frustrations with the current regulations in F1. The fuel efficiency regulations and the engine freeze during the year are a particular annoyance for the Italian.

The team however said on its website that a departure from F1 is out of the question.

“Some elements of the media have suggested Ferrari would quit Formula 1 to concentrate on the Le Mans 24 Hours and Endurance racing.”

“This is a bit of a stretch based on President Luca di Montezemolo reiterating that Formula 1 needs to evolve and renew itself, while also admitting that there is a unique attraction to the [Le Mans] 24 hour race.

“To say that after 2020, Ferrari could quit Formula 1 to concentrate on Le Mans and the [World] Endurance Championship takes his words to extremes. Plus of course, there’s nothing to stop Ferrari upping the ante and competing in both disciplines. So it’s just pure speculation

Today, rumours arose once again when Ferrari scheduled a press meeting at Le Mans. The company was expected to announce a Le Mans Prototype programme but instead announced nothing new in this area. The team's F1 driver, Fernando Alonso meanwhile was allowed to officially give the start of this year's Le Mans 24h, earlier today at 15:00 local time.

Kao što sam i rekao nakon Kanade, Ferrari ipak polako napreduje, ali puževim koracima se približava vodećima, nažalost presporo.

Ferrari se prvi put kvalificirao u 2. red (prvi neMercedes auto) na stazi gdje je motor jako važan. Samo 2 Renaulta su u top 10, a ovo je trebala biti utrka na kojoj su mislili napraviti napredak.
Nadam se da su ovo dobre vijesti za nastavak sezone

Alonso je 10 km/h sporiji od Masse koji je najbrzi, 3 km/h sporiji od Rosberga, dok je Kimi 2km/h brzi od Alonsa. Dobra vijest je i izjava Alonsa da zasad svi djelovi funkcioniraju kako spada i da sad valjda krecu u pravom smjeru

Ja sam zadovoljan današnjom formom Alonsa i njegovog Ferrarija. Kao što sam i rekao nakon kanade sad se ispostavlja istinom, Ferrari napreduje, sad su po mojoj procjeni na oko pola sekunde za Mercedesom, što znači da su zaostatak u najmanju ruku prepolovili. Nastavi li se ovakav napredak, možda i dočekamo pobjedu ove sezone, koje postolje nebi smjelo biti u pitanju.

Ne zaboravi da je Mercedes opet imao problema sa pregrijavanjem tako da nisu vozili na maksimumu, a lako su se odmaknuli od Bottasa kada su ga prošli.

Ferrari in talks with new turbo supplier

Scuderia Ferrari is already hard at work at resolving its engine problems to prepare in the best possible way for the 2015 campaign. Until then though, no real performance updates can be added on the power unit.

Italian magazine Autosprint has reported that the team has begun talks to change turbo suppliers after finding out that the turbo of the current power unit, supplied by Honeywell, is one of the main problems for the car's lack of performance.

"Ferrari has its historical partners," wrote correspondent Alberto Antonini, "but something has to change."

Since the very beginning of the season, both Renault and Ferrari have faced stiff competition from Mercedes who appear to have done the better job on their power unit. Our analysis from the Austrian GP also showed that Renault and Ferrari appear to be fairly evenly matched in terms of outright power.

The regulations as they are now however are causing increased frustration among teams and suppliers as they are aware nothing much can be done about Mercedes' advantage. During the season, all power unit upgrades have to be given approval by the FIA and are only allowed when targeting an improvement in reliability. The problem here is obviously that Ferrari in particular are no really suffering any hardware reliability issues, requiring them to live with the current power deficit.

Two weeks ago this has notably led to Luca Di Montezemolo's call for a meeting about the future of F1 following repeated public outbursts of his frustration with the engine freeze regulations.

The article states that Ferrari made a few critical errors that they cannot fix in season and have to wait till 2015. The ICE on its own is fine. The errors are on the electrical side of the Power Unit. The first error is the layout that was chosen for the Turbine, MGU-H, and the Compressor. The Mercedes layout has thermal advantages, saves space, and has a lower Center of Gravity.
Ferrari is also paying for two further conceptual errors. The first is the choice to use a turbine that is too small. The smaller Turbine was chosen as it requires less cooling, effects the ICE less, and is smaller in size. It was reasoned that the disadvantages on the Power Unit side would be overcome by the aerodynamic advantages, but it turned out the disadvantages were larger. The smaller turbine harvests less energy that can be sent directly to the MGU-K, which is not limited per lap like the ES to MGU-K is. Therefore the Ferrari Power Unit lacks Power.
The second error is the lack of insulation on the exhaust pipes. This looses energy that can be harvested by the MGU-H and this lost heat needs to be ejected by the side pods. This requires larger side pods which effects the aerodynamic performance. The exhausts are also a part that is Homologated and can only be changed for 2015.
In Canada Ferrari tested bodywork changes at the back that increases the effectiveness of the diffuser, but it wasn't raced as they feared cooling problems. In Austria the bodywork was raced and it showed in the corners where the car was faster but both drives reported a lack of Power. Ferrari didn't specify where the lack of power came from and one can just speculate that they ran on a lower power setting to prevent overheating.
