Mjesto u Sauberu je Heidfeldova naknada od strane Brawna za dobro obavljen posao. Naime, Ross je Heidfelda poslao na testiranje Pirellievih guma kako bi ih potonji razvio prema Schumijevom načinu vožnje. Zauzvrat je Nicku sredio mjesto u Sauberu, što je Nick objeručke prihvatio jer ionako nebi vozio za Mercedes.

Neću ti baš skroz proturiječiti već malo preformulirati: Ross je (ot)pustio Nicka (zbog)na testiranje kako bi prvi imao podatke (i malo ih oblikovao u smislu sugestija Nicku) o gumama za narednu sezonu ... kako i prema kojem vozaču će složiti bolid, u to se ipak neću upustiti jer Nickov neki "prirodni" stil mi je još uvijek malo nejasan. Znam da je nježan prema gumama, posebno prednjim, ali nisam primjetio neku izraženu želju za preuparavljanjem ni "upravljanjem pedalom gasa" ... stil prilično sličan Buttonovom - precizno usmjeravanje bolida bez silovanja uz lagane korekcije za razliku od vozača koji malo ili malo više "cimnu" bolid u zavoj ... i sad nastaje razlika ... i drže poziciju volana (oni koji vole podupravljanje i nemaju problema sa zagrijavanjem prednjih guma) ili lagano poravnaju poziciju volana na ulazu u zavoj (jer su usmjerili bolid tamo gdje žele i ti vozači imaju malo problema sa zagrijavanjem prednjih guma jer iste nisu pod konstantim naporom i kasnije prorade) ...kowalski je napisao/la:Mjesto u Sauberu je Heidfeldova naknada od strane Brawna za dobro obavljen posao. Konačno ....
Mislim da je on i bio prvi Sauberov izbor samo se je Nick malo shebal sa Mercedesom a g.Sauber nije mogel čekat pa je uzel Rosu..

mislim da je to kod mudrog starog saubera i presudilodeda je napisao/la:Nick bi mogo bit u prednosti zbog poznavanja ponasanja pirellijevih guma!

Heidfeld can't wait to race again
Nick Heidfeld says he cannot wait to get back to racing on his return to grand prix action next week in Singapore.
The German has replaced Spaniard Pedro de la Rosa for the remaining races of the season at the Sauber team, having been working as Pirelli's development driver since last month.
The Singapore event will be Heidfeld's first race since the end of last season, and the Sauber driver admitted he is eager to get back behind the wheel.
"I can't wait to get back in the race car," said Heidfeld. "I'm not just very much looking forward to going racing again, as I regard it as a special bonus that my first race will be the Singapore Grand Prix. Two years ago this race immediately became one of my favourites.
"Of course I can hardly imagine how the circuit will suit the car as I haven't driven it yet, but according to everything I saw and from what I have heard, the performance should be better in Singapore compared to Monza. Another positive thing is we found out I probably can use my seat from last year.
"This does not only save a lot of work, but it also gives me a good feeling because it was a very good seat and normally you have to do a lot of fine tuning until it fits that well. I'm also very much looking forward to really getting to know James Key and my team-mate, Kamui, and working with both of them."
Team-mate Kamui Kobayashi believes the team will have a stronger weekend than at Monza, despite not having driven at the Marina Bay circuit yet.
"I have never raced in Singapore, but I know the track from the simulator," he said. "I believe in terms of performance we should be able to do better in Singapore than in Monza.
"I must admit I would really like to have a good result in my pocket when we head to my home grand prix in Suzuka. It is exciting to get a new team mate during the season and I'm curious about working with Nick."

Baš me zanima kako će se snaći u autu nakon toliko vremena. Tj. kako se neće snaći. Sauber je ipak nepoznat faktor za "brzoga".

ekipa da,bolid mu je nepoznat,gume također.uletit na pola sezone i vozit uz zabranjena testiranja je nezahvalno.vidjeli smo fisichellu prošle godine kako je se borio s ferrarijem kad je otišao iz force indije,a on je još i vozio skoro cijelu sezonu.ok,fizi nije neka klasa,ali sigurno je da zbog nepoznavanja bolida nije mogao iskoristit svoj potencijal.Igor18 je napisao/la:Kaj bi bio nepoznat faktor, pa čovjek je 7 godina proveo u toj ekipi. ma ova sezona mu iovak vjerojatno nije bitna!
glavno da se on dobro spremi za sljedecu a ima prednost u odnosu na ostale jer je napravio 200 krugova pa pirelijima!

Nemora bit tolki hendikep. Fizi je iz force indie koje je bila bez KERS-a otišao u SKROZ novo okruženje i potpuno novi bolid koji je uz to imao i KERS u sebi.
Nick neće biti u takvom hendikepu jer je on zadnje 3 godine čini mi se bio u ekipi i prošle godine sigurno je radio jedno vrijeme na razvoju bolida za ovu sezonu i upoznat je s određenim stvarima. Sigurno da će biti hendikepiran za nepoznavanje vožnje sa užim prednjim gumama i punim tankom. Makar u predsezoni je sa Mercedesom testirao na tim gumama i ima neka iskustva s njima, neće uletit na slijepo.
+ ovo testiranje za Pirelli sigurno mu je dobro došlo za vračanje osjećaja vožnje bolida, tako da ne bojim se za "brzog" bit će on dobar.
Bit će on ne samo unutar pol sekunde nego i ispred Kamuija.

Heidfeld says his future is open
Formula 1 returnee Nick Heidfeld's plans for the 2011 remain open despite returning to Sauber for the final five races of this season.
The 33-year-old spent the first half of the season as reserve driver at Mercedes before joining Pirelli's tyre testing programme driving a 2009 Toyota.
He will start his first grand prix since last year's Abu Dhabi race in Singapore and currently only has a Sauber deal to the end of the season after replacing Pedro de la Rosa.
"The future is open," he told AUTOSPORT. "The contract is only for the last five races but obviously it will help for me to be back racing and show some strong performances.
"Some people say that I could have stayed with Pirelli, but for me it was clear that if I had the chance to come back and race a good car, then I would go for it."
Heidfeld has not set any targets for the Singapore Grand Prix despite Sauber emerging as a regular points scorer in recent races. His priority is to adapt to the car and the 2010 Bridgestone tyres.
"My target is to get the maximum out of a situation and any given moment," said Heidfeld. "It's very difficult to judge how good the car is as I've never driven it. For the first weekend, I will be quickly learning the car and the tyres.
"I don't usually set myself targets in terms of positions because I think it's pointless unless you clearly have the quickest car like Red Bull has had most of the time - then maybe you could say you want to win!
"We don't know how good the other teams will be, we don't know if they will have technical problems, we don't know about the weather – there are a thousand things to consider. I will decide after the race weekend if I am happy with what I have done regardless of position."

neznam zakaj je sekundu skoro kasnio za Kobom ali cim je Koba uspio utjerat bolid u top 10, znaci da mogu očekivati neki bod.

Heidfeld in talks for 2011 race seat - manager
Nick Heidfeld's manager is confident the German will find a race cockpit on the 2011 grid.
One race after the 33-year-old secured his return with Sauber for the last rounds of 2010, the Swiss team announced it has signed Mexican rookie Sergio Perez for next season.
It is a blow for Heidfeld, but his manager Andre Theuerzeit insisted there are talks with other teams about 2011.
He told the German news agency SID that Heidfeld was "not unprepared" for the Perez news.
"There are still cockpits available in Formula One for next season," said Theuerzeit. "At the moment we are in negotiations and we are confident there will be a positive outcome."
The best potential cockpit for 2011 is Renault's, but the Enstone based team's French boss Eric Boullier has played down suggestions Heidfeld's recent role with Pirelli gives him an advantage.
"That Nick Heidfeld should be first choice?" he mused in interview with F1's official website.
"Because he sits on important information and would without doubt give them to his new team? I think that Pirelli will inform all the teams in due course," said Boullier.
