Sta mislite jel Kimi pogresio sto se vratio u f1? Mogo je u Nascaru nesto napraviti, ovde u f1 kakav bolid dobije takav ce i biti.

cuj, prvi direktni konkurent mu je onaj tko bude sjedio u drugom renolu il koji je to vec vrag..
sto se tice borbi sa drugim bolidima ne vjerujem da ce bit neki puno drukciji odnos snaga nego ove sezone tako da bi se mogao borit evenutalno sa mozda schumijem..

naravno da nije pogrjesio.. kakav crni nascar..

Rating Kimi Raikkonen’s Technical Ability

Adrian Newey, designer of the championship-winning Red Bull RB6 and RB7, had this to say about Raikkonen while they were both at McLaren: “Kimi and Mika [Hakkinen] have a similar way of reporting on a car’s behaviour. It’s economical in terms of vocabulary — they don’t waste words, let’s put it that way! — but the words they do use are very accurate. If Kimi makes a comment about the car, it’s worth taking notice of that comment, just as it was with Mika.”

BBC’s pitlane reporter, Ted Kravitz revealed that long after Raikkonen had left McLaren, “McLaren engineers still talk with wonder about Raikkonen’s consistent lap times. He was so good, they say, because he would come back to the pits, say what was wrong, they would fix it and he would go out and go faster. Simple.”

After Raikkonen clinched the 2007 world championship in the final round, former Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn, currently the team principal of Mercedes GP, said, “I was particularly pleased for Kimi because he struggled a little at the beginning to adapt to the new team, car and particularly the Bridgestone tyre characteristics. What impressed me was that he worked with his engineers, understood the issues, got on top of the situation and, importantly and in the style of Michael, he did it in a quiet way within the privacy of the team.”

Whitmarsh tried to sign Raikkonen after he left Ferrari in 2009, saying, “He is not political, he is absolutely straightforward – what you see is what you get with Kimi – and on top of that everyone knows that he is a winning driver. I think he has been underestimated technically.”

Jedina pogreška je bila što je sam odlučio napustiti F1. Kakav NASCAR, kakav reli

( nemojte poceti kako ga je Ferrari otjerao, mjesta za Kimija u F1 uvijek bi se negdje našlo )

Sto crni, pa tamo se na kraju dana zna da je pobedio najbolji vozac a ne najbolji auto.

Kakav NASCAR, kakav reli

I WRC je isto dobar i zanimljiv. Trkaju se protiv vremena na svim vrstama podloge i po svim vremenskim uslovima. To nije lako i ja licno cenim vise reli vozace od f1 vozaca. Usput reli vozac ne poznaje stazu kao kruzni vozac sto je jos teze.

Gerhard Berger admits he would be "surprised" if Kimi Raikkonen has the "strength, discipline and ambition to return to the front".

The 32-year-old Raikkonen, who quit Formula One after the 2009 season, will return with Lotus Renault next year following two years in the World Rally Championship. The Finn has already warned that he is "more motivated than ever" and hasn't "lost any speed".

However, former F1 driver Berger says he would not have lured Raikkonen back to F1 and questions whether the 2007 World Champion will be up for the challenge.

"I would say it is 50/50 if he is able to reach the top again," Berger is quoted as saying to Austria's ORF. "I would be surprised if he has the strength, discipline and ambition to return to the front.

"Of course he should not be underestimated and I don't underestimate him - there is no question he is quick and it would be good for F1, so let's hope for it and wish him all the best.

"[However] I would not have taken him. Formula One is so unique. If you don't really live it day and night, constantly perfecting yourself and working on it, it is difficult.

"It's hard, hard work, and whether he has the willingness to do this hard, hard work, we'll see."
