Fora je što je taj Scrabs "običan" (i čini se dosta susretljiv) čovijek, samo se nitko nije sjetio da ga kontaktira za neki intervju iako je ekspert što se tiče f1, lakše je naravno samo prenositi očito. Meni onaj gore šumski dio izgleda težak za preticanja, ali bar malo podsjeća na stari Hockenheim.damjan.cule je napisao/la:Staza je ok, ali mi se izlaz iz bokseva ne sviđa...taman na poziciji da se ubaci u putanju onome tko izlazi iz 1. zavoja, nešto slično kao u Koreiji. Nadam se da će to doživiti modifikacije...

No limit for the engine renting costs

Many teams are reportedly pushing the FIA to delay the introduction of F1’s new engine regulations.
All-new turbo V6 rules are currently scheduled to debut in 2014, but Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport and Italy’s Autosprint say some of the midfield teams are opposed on cost grounds.
"It is being heard from sources at (engine suppliers) Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault that the development of the turbo V6 is more expensive than expected," said the German report.
"Since no limit for the engine renting costs from 2014 has been set, the (small) teams fear that they will incur additional costs."
Currently, each non-works team pays about EUR 8 million for 16 normally-aspirated V8 engines and a few test engines, and up to 5m for KERS.
Another factor is the speed of the F1 cars, which is already beginning to be rivalled by the junior GP2 category. The new V6 turbo engines will be about 25kg heavier.
Italy’s Autosprint speculated that the dispute could mean the V8s stick around in F1 for "one or two more seasons".

F1 - Pirelli announces tyre choices up to Silverstone

Pirelli has nominated the P Zero slick compounds that will be used for the forthcoming races in Montreal, Valencia and Silverstone.
For the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, the teams will use the P Zero Yellow soft and P Zero Red supersoft tyres. At the Grand Prix of Europe in Valencia, the teams will have the P Zero White medium and P Zero Yellow soft at their disposal. Finally, for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in July, Pirelli will bring the P Zero Silver hard and P Zero Yellow soft.
Montreal’s street circuit is tight and twisty, making it ideally suited to the two softest compounds in Pirelli’s range – as will be used in Monaco this weekend. Valencia is also a street circuit, but higher temperatures and faster speeds mean that the medium and the soft tyres are most suitable. Silverstone is one of the quickest circuits of the year, so the nomination of hard and soft – with a full step in between the two compounds – will showcase both the durability and performance of Pirelli’s products, while opening up many different possibilities in terms of strategy.
The 2012 rules stipulate that under normal circumstances each team will receive six sets of the harder compound and five sets of the softer compound for the race weekend, which can now be used at any point from free practice one onwards. Pirelli will also bring its Cinturato Green intermediate tyre for damp track conditions (four sets per driver) as well as the Cinturato Blue rain tyre (three sets per driver) to each race.

CVC Capital has sold a $1.6 billion stake in Formula 1 to investors ahead of the sport's planned $3 billion IPO.
Formula 1's stock market flotation is planned to go ahead in Singapore next month, and sources have told the Reuters news agency that CVC has sold a stake of around 20 per cent of the sport to three investors including BlackRock.
As a result of the pre-IPO deal, CVC's stake is believed to have been cut to around 40 per cent.
BlackRock is an American multinational investment corporation as well as the world's largest asset manager.
The move gives Formula 1 an enterprise value of about $9.1 billion.
"We view this (pre-IPO deal) as a validation of the company's valuation," a source told Reuters about the deal.

As expected, France’s new government is not willing to return to the Formula 1 calendar next season. Under the previous leadership of Nicolas Sarkozy, the Paul Ricard circuit had agreed to make an F1 comeback for the first time since 1990. However, since the general election the situation has now changed.
With the Socialist Party led by François Hollande now at the forefront of the nation, France seems less likely to return to F1 for the first time since 2008; that year, Felipe Massa capitalised on a broken exhaust for Kimi Räikkönen to win at Magny-Cours.
“There are more Grands Prix now than in 2008,” sports minister Valerie Fourneyron explained to the RMC radio station. “We are not against having a Grand Prix in France, but we must have transparency over this topic and not murkiness over the financial aspects with F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone or environmental issues.
“This is something which deserves a lot of attention. We also need to know how much the state would be endorsing any shortfalls, plus there are major accessibility problems at Castellet (Paul Ricard). All of that needs a little more than ten minutes of attention.
“So we are not sure we will be seeing a Grand Prix in France next year, but there is no strong objection either.”
In the form of road races, motorsport began in France in the late 1800s; as accidents and fatalities became frequent, the use of European circuits became more popular.
