Nakon dugo vremena i od njega jedna pametna...
Di Montezemolo calls for return of F1 testing
Ferrari's leading man, Luca Di Montezemolo has called upon the FIA to reform Formula One in a drastic way. The Italian noted that the current regulations render it impossible to transfer any technology to road cars, something which "has to change".

At the Finale Mondiali, Di Montezemolo started off with congratulating Ferrari with what they have achieved this year, focusing on their cars as a team, rather than as individual players. He also praised Felipe Massa for playing such a vital role in the team, and taking his responsibility when it was clear that only Fernando Alonso was still in with a shot for the championship.

What was more interesting however is Di Montezemolo's call for a radical change in the regulations of Formula one: "There are things that aren’t going well in this sport and the moment has arrived to clarify these once and for all in the appropriate places. We can no longer have a situation in which the transfer of technology from the track to the street is reduced to the bare minimum, engines and gearboxes are always the same and the aerodynamics no longer has anything to do with research for road cars."

Apart from wanting these technical regulation changes, Ferrari is also calling to allow more testing again, something which possibly hurt Ferrari the most when the winter testing limit was introduced.

He added "Moreover, it cannot be that in this sport you can’t test. We’ve been saying this for a while and we will repeat it in the appropriate places so for the moment I don’t want to add anything else. But our patience has run out so someone needs to think about whether they want Formula 1 still to have companies that invest and consider it the most advanced research bench for its own cars – as Ferrari has always done since 1950. We are constructors, not sponsors: I’m no longer happy that we can’t do testing on tarmac and that you can’t give any chance for young drivers to emerge – since some people have used the expression “It’s a joke” in recent days, I would like to say that this is the real “joke”. Yes, I’m referring to one of Ecclestone’s phrases: my father always taught me that you have to have respect your elders, above all when they reach the point that they can no longer control their words. So I will stop there. Certainly, old age is often incompatible with certain roles and responsibilities."

znam...ali eto u zadnje vrijeme slušamo dosta čudnih izjava iz Ferrarija pa je lijepo vidjeti i nešto pametno

materijal bice samo sminka,ne sme da bude noseci dio konstrukcije(mislim da je ovo poznato,samo da se prisetimo)

Presentation of the Ferrari F2013 2nd of February Maranello

The new Ferrari F2013 or project 664 will be revealed the 2nd of February, in the afternoon, weather permitting, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will do the shake down.
Project 664 will be shown to the press and Tifosi between the 30th of January and the 2nd of February, as is the tradition of the Scuderia.
So there is still 44-46 days to go for simulations, evaluations, assembly and preparations for the track debut at the Fiorano track, assuming the snow will not spoil the party as it did last year.
Both Alonso and Felipe will do a 100km. shake down, before leaving for the wintertest in Jerez de la Frontera, starting at the 5th of February, where we will see a lot of the 2013 cars and i'm sure some 2012 hybrids also.

Ajmo se kladit da će odgodit barem tjedan dana:D...ili ako bude taj datum, budu rekli da je to 50% novog bolida, da sve dolazi dolaskom utrka u Europu i te spike.

The key points of the project F2013: fairing rear triangle and confirmation of the system Pull-Rod.

The new Red Army, which is called "Project 664", should be submitted between 30 January and 2 February 2013. As has happened in recent years the car Horse will race for a shakedown of 100 km (50 km Alonso and Massa 50 km) at the Fiorano track (time to
making), before being packed and shipped in the Jerez de la Frontera, where there will be the first winter testing session.

In an article by Giorgio Piola published in the pages of the Gazzetta dello Sport, the commentator explains that the 2013 Ferrari will retain 90% of the changes introduced in the 2012 car. In the first place will remain unchanged the front pull rod suspension system which has greatly impressed during this season. An innovation may be the fairing of the upper triangle of the rear suspension. The team led by Pat Fry will copy this system from the RB8 world champion 2012.

This system rescued by Newey archive of memories, was introduced in the Williams FW16 of 1994 precisely designed by Adrian Newey. Using this particular Ferrari intends to "clean up" what is the intended airflow to the rear of the car. In fact, improving the interaction between the profiles of the suspension, the diffuser and discharges, one should also those that increase the grip is in a neuralgic area always weak point of the last cars of Maranello. In this sense, there will be the removal of the infamous "step" that did so much to discuss fans of F1.

The red should also shave some glitches related to the configuration of the discharge and the load rear of the car, sore point of this 2012 season. Australia is still far but somewhere near Maranello is already beginning to work on what will be the 2013 season.

Ferrari is working hard on the project 664, the technical staff has studied the F2012 intensively, in order to keep the strong points and to improve the many weak features of the car.
The whole design was based around the Acer exhausts, which were quickly abandoned, because they did not give the desired results on track, this was one of the main reasons the F2012 performed not as expected.
The 664 will no longer have this exhaust system, but will most likely use the sides/exhaust concept as seen on the Sauber and Red Bull, this system has proven to be the most effective way of using the hot air from the exhausts and improving downforce, because of this change, they will have to redesign the diffusor.

A lot of work will also be done on the front and rear wings, David Sanchez, former head of aerodynamics McLaren, has joined Ferrari and is working especially on this, most likely he will completely redesign the DRS system, which was also one of the weak points of the F2012.
The pull rod front suspension will stay and will probably be used by McLaren and Lotus also, a system that was abandoned because of the higher noses, but came back in fashion with the 2012/2013 technical regulations, which forced the teams to lower the front area of the car.

The pull rod is already confirmed on the 664, as it allows a lower center of gravity of the car (shock absorbers and torsion bars are placed lower) but the biggest gain is of aerodynamic nature, because it provides a cleaner air flow towards the rear diffusor.
Mechanically the front suspension will undergo some changes, to make it more stable especially when braking, a known problem of the F2012, and to make the car more compatible with the new Pirelli tyres, the same will hapen to the rear suspension.

In the rear area we will almost certain see a solution, as seen on this year Red Bull, but also as far back as on the Williams FW16 1994, this solution is to encase the rear suspension with an aerodynamic foil, including the triangles of the suspension and the axle shaft, in this way, the whole rear suspension becomes an airflow profile.
This profile will guide the airflow to the lower profile of the rear wing and the diffusor, thereby increasing the downforce of the car.

Ferrari to split F1 design programmes for 2013 and '14 cars - Ferrari će usporedno i odvojeno razvijati bolide za 2013 i 2014. Tombazis kao šef za oba, s tim da će Simone Resta predvoditi razvoj '13 bolida, a Fabio Montecchi razvoj bolida za '14.
Mislim da će većina momčadi imat sličan pristup. Mislim čak da je već netko pričao o tome da će se pravit kompromis na razvoju '13 bolida da bi se '14 posvetilo više vremena.

Monty veli da je Vettel potencijalni vozac Ferarrija. Ako Alonso odluci da sa svojom djevojkom ode na Havaje dovukao bi Vettela.

Ja iskreno nevolim vetela i nebih volio da prekoraci prag Ferrarija jer nezna da respectuje propetog Konja.I vadi mi zivce kad ga vidim toliko.

Kako je lijepo kad iz Ferrarijevog boksa dolazi poruka Alonsu na Italijanskom, raj za usi.A ostali ne razumiju odlicno, pa onda uvode prevod Italijanskog. Ko im je kriv sto ne znaju Italijanski ha ha ha ha...

Ako nama Novak u prijenosu sve fino prevede onda sam siguran da i RB, McLaren i ostatak ekipe znaju sve ;)

A što se tiče navijanja svim srcem (itd...)... Navijam i ja svim srcem, ali ne zatrpavam temu nepotrebnim postovima.

Dali se zna što će/bi trebao Ferrari promijeniti na autu. Jer mi se nekako čini da ih je auto cijele godine ograničavao pa nisu mogli napraviti nekakav veći korak (osim u Mugellu).

Skužili smo da "srčano "navijaš"" za Ferrari. Ali nemoj pisat besmislene postove...naporno je dolaziti na forum, vidjeti da ima novi post u temi samo da bih pročitao neku glupost

Uz to, dodatno optimiziranje ispuha da se pojača efekt koji on radi (i sumnjam, makar mnogima mašta radi, da će kopirati RB po pitanju ispuha)

Ovo me je zanimalo s radijatorima jer sam malo o tome čitao na F1technical, ali nisam niš skužil.
Doveli su i nekog novog frajera za krila, jel je?

Ne bih volio da kopiraju ikoga a pogotovo red bul.Talijani nisu ko crtac iz red bula koji je zavrsio vjerovatno likovnu akademiju.I viri u svaki bolid kad su na gridu.Nebi li nesto kopirao,a tek kad hoda oko F2012 meni raste pritisak.
