iskreno, kad smo već kod ponavljanja, ja bih volio da ponove 2010. Osim slučajne pobjede u Bahrainu zbog kvara na oba RB-a imali su dosta mučenja, ali su sredinom sezone uhvatili brzinu (borili se i za pole i za pobjede) te uz pomoć kvarova i grešaka suparnika čak došli u priliku da se bore za naslov.

Ako ferrari ubrzo ne proradi na mercedesovom nivu, ode alonso papa, pravac mcl, jer jedino mcl zbog honde moze sljedece sezone bljesnut. Mislim da bu ovakav poredak snaga bio do sljedece velike promjene pravilnika, izuzev vec spomenutog mcl koji bi sa dobro poslozenom hondom mogao mercedesu pomrsiti racune, za ostale cisto sumnjam. Naravno to je moje misljenje. Sljedi nam era mercedesa.

Najavaljuje se veliki update od strane Ferrarija za Španjolsku.
U suštini je sve ono što je i kolega @Cuky najavio, očekuje se da će se mapiranjem i optimizacijom PU dobiti dodatnih 10-15HP, nos sličan Mercedesovom, nova prednja i stražnja krila i podnica, novi sidepods koji bi trabali biti uži, zbog manjih radijatora, i na taj način bi se trebala povećati top speed, i takođe najavaljuje se novi pokrov motora koji bi trebao bit uži oko mjenjača.

Axed Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali could rebuild his professional career in the world of Italian basketball.

Italian media reports claim the 48-year old, who started work at Maranello in his twenties, has been contacted in recent days by Giovanni Petrucci, president of the Italian basketball federation, the Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro (FIP).

Petrucci became Italian basketball’s president last year.

In his seventh season as Ferrari team principal, Domenicali stepped down between the recent Bahrain and Chinese Grand Prix due to the fabled Italian team’s poor results. He was replaced by Marco Mattiacci.

Fernando Alonso scored Ferrari’s first podium of the new V6 era in China, and dedicated it to the departed chief.

“Probably all the parts from now until July or August are coming from the team working under Stefano, so hopefully we can give him some great Sundays at home in front of the TV,” he said

Brawn spotted in Maranello

Few journalists in Formula 1 have the real inside line with all news related to Ferrari like Leo Turrini and therefore when he reports of a Ross Brawn spotting in the area then it is time to sit up and take notice.

Turrini reports that Brawn, who was part of the Ferrari wonder years, was at Maranello – Fiorano to be precise – on Monday.

In his typical humour packed style Turrini speculated that Brawn was in town because:

*He picked up some boxes of bananas from a grocer who he frequented regularly between 1997 and 2006;
*He had an unsettled bill at Pancani’s gas station which he had decided to settle;
*He was in town to hand pick and buy a brand new Ferrari with all the millions he has earned;
*New Ferrari Formula 1 race director Marco Mattiacci is a very intelligent person and possibly very convincing…

There has been much speculation regarding Brawn’s plans in the aftermath of his departure from Mercedes, with reports linking him not only to Ferrari but also to a top spot at McLaren.

Ross Brawn has played down the significance of a visit to the Ferrari factory in Maranello on Monday.
The trip has led to speculation that he could return to Ferrari, where he was technical director in the team's dominant period in the early 2000s.
Brawn, 59, told BBC Sport he was there "with a group of friends as part of a tour of Italy - no more than that!"
He left his role as Mercedes team principal in December and is taking time off while deciding on his future.
A Ferrari spokesman also claimed that Brawn's visit was "simply an Italian fantasy tour with friends scheduled for some time".
Brawn said the group tried out two Ferrari road cars, including the new LaFerrari hypercar, at Ferrari's Fiorano test track.
He said his trip was focused on visiting some of the route used by the historic Mille Miglia race across Italy "and as many vineyards as possible"
Talking to Italy's Gazzetta Dello Sport newspaper, he added that his visit to Ferrari was "out in the open".
Ferrari are in a period of some turmoil after a disappointing start to the season following the introduction of new rules.
The car has been off the pace of the dominant Mercedes car - the development of which was led by Brawn - and Stefano Domenicali resigned as team principal following a poor race in Bahrain last month, in which Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen finished ninth and 10th.
Domenicali has been replaced by Marco Mattiacci, the former head of Ferrari's North American road-car division who is a protege of the top management of parent company Fiat.
Alonso lies third in the drivers' championship behind Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton after taking the team's first podium position of the season in the last race in China following improvements to the car.
And technical director James Allison insists Ferrari do still not know the true potential of their 2014 car, the F14 T.
"We are learning how to get performance out of this new set of regulations and hopefully to make this car more competitive," Allison said.
"The key to a successful season is to keep improving your car at every race.
"If we can do that, bringing a meaningful amount of performance to every one of those races, we will keep seeing steps forward. And that will define what is the true F14 T, not just one single race."
Raikkonen has been struggling to adapt to the car and off Alonso's pace so far this season, but Allison said he expected to see some improvement from the Finn soon.
"With Fernando we've seen an extraordinary level of performance, scavenging every possible point at every possible opportunity," Allison said.
"Kimi is working extremely well with the team, collaborating with the engineers, helping us to drive this car forwards. He has class written all over him and, in a very short space of time, I'm sure we will also see the results of that on the track.

Ferrari targets continuous improvement

Despite a longer than usual break between races, Ferrari Technical Director James Allison does not target the Spanish Grand Prix as a benchmark for the team but instead aims to gradually improve the F14 T at each event.

Allison refutes the idea that the Ferrari was much better suited to China, because it's better performance compared to Bahrain is more likely thanks to the improvements made to the car in between those two races.

“Where did we see the real performance level of the car? Bahrain or China?” he asks. “It’s a mistake to think in those terms, because it wasn’t the same car at the two tracks. Between those two races, we improved the car quite substantially, so not only did the track characteristics change, so did our car.

“We are learning how to get performance out of this new set of regulations and hopefully to make this car more competitive. The key to a successful season is to keep improving your car at every race. If we can do that, bringing a meaningful amount of performance to every one of those races, we will keep seeing steps forward. And that will define what is the true F14 T, not just one single race.”

Allison is aware that progress will only matter when compared to its competitors but is confident that the team's driver pairing will make sure to extract every last bit out of the Ferrari F14 T.
