pa tako je i Marlboro na bolidima Ferrarija bio u mojih prvih 7-8 godina praćenja F1, sponzor im je i sada pa ja svejedno nisam pušač. Vidio sam masu reklama za alkoholna pića na bolidima (Martini, Becks, JW, Kingfisher, Smirnoff...) i probao sam neka od njih kad sam došao u priliku da probam, ali opet nisam nijednom sjeo za volan pijan niti se opijam svakodnevno.

Da ne kažem samo koliko sam puta na našim programima vidio reklame za Becks, Heineken, Stellu, Karlovačko, Ožujsko, Pan, Kutjevačke podrume...pa nijednom nakon viđene reklame nije mi došlo "uh, idem si sad baš po jednu gajbu"

Ne kužim zašto od svih staza oni izaberu baš Monako za testirati...nekako imam više dojam da je ovo bilo da se publici izbliza pokaže kako bi to izgledalo. Ne samo da je staza sve samo ne idealna za testiranje nego je i taj bolid, baš kao i trenutni u F1, dizajniran za drukčije kotače.

No action taken over De Villota Marussia crash

No action is being taken following the Health and Safety Executive’s investigation into Marussia test driver Maria de Villota’s crash in 2012.

De Villota, the daughter of former Formula One driver Emilio de Villota, was having her first run for Marussia, which now competes as Manor. She collided with the team’s support truck while testing at Duxford Airfield in Cambridgeshire, sustaining serious head injuries and losing the use of her right eye.

The following year De Villota was promoting her autobiography when she died at a hotel in Seville, Spain. Her family said the cause of death was related to the injuries she suffered in the crash.

The Health and Safety Executive has now concluded the investigation it began in 2012. “No enforcement action is being taken,” a spokesperson confirmed. The team and De Villota’s family have been notified.

Two weeks after the crash Marussia said its own investigation had “[excluded] the car as a factor in the accident”.

FIA toughens up front wing deflection tests

Formula 1's ruling body, the FIA, will toughen up the front wing deflection tests with immediate effect.

In a note sent to the teams, the governing body said it intends to introduce a further load/deflection test on parts of the bodywork forward of the front wheels.

A 60N point load will be applied to any part of the trailing edge of any front wing flap.

The load will be applied normal to the flap at the relevant point, and the deflection may not exceed 3mm when measured vertically at the trailing edge in order for the wing to meet the regulations.

It is unclear if the FIA is reacting to any of the current teams' designs.

U monacu su bili slow motioni ferrarija s prednjim krilom koje lijepo pleše. Možda ima veze.

nije to razlog, ne možeš očekivati da krilo bude skroz kruto jer je svaki materijal više ili manje fleksibilan. Radi se o tome da momčadi počevši sa prošlom sezonom navodno dizajniraju flapove tako da se više nego normalno svijaju pri velikim brzinama kako bi se smanjio drag. Ovo je primjer Williamsa prošle godine u Spa, pogledaj kako se flapovi dižu i spuštaju u odnosu na grafiku

Također, ista je stvar bila jako izražena ove godine kod Toro Rossa u Australiji, a navodno i druge momčadi imaju nekakve verzije toga pa FIA odlučila sad i taj dio krila testirati.

F1 set for louder engines in 2016

Formula 1's engine manufacturers are working to fast-track a solution to improve the noise of engines for 2016, Motorsport.com can reveal.

As part of an effort to make F1 more exciting in 2017, a series of discussions took place between teams over the Monaco GP weekend to try to edge forward with framing rules that would deliver better cars.

While much of the focus has been on speed improvements, and whether or not the return of refuelling will actually be any better for racing, one issue that has gained consensus is for noise tweaks to come in earlier.

Following a request from the FIA, Motorsport.com understands that all four engine manufacturers are working on a rule that will force them to make changes to the exhaust layouts of their cars for next year to improve the sound.

The plan is to make it mandatory for there to be two tailpipe exits rather than the current single one.

It is believed that this solution will help deliver a better sound for the engine as it will prevent the muffling effect caused by the current turbo wastegate and single exhaust exit.

Sources suggest that one exhaust will be used for the wastegate, while the other will deliver sound straight from the engine to help deliver more sound.

Awaiting approval
The proposal to force engines to run with twin exhausts will need to be sent to F1's Strategy Group for approval.

Should it get the majority support required, then it will need unanimous backing at the F1 Commission later this month prior to a likely ratification at July's FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting.

Renault hopes changes are enough
Although the twin exhaust solution will not bring back the kind of noise F1 experienced during the V8 era, it should at least lift the volume and deliver a more throatier noise.

Renault F1 engine boss Cyril Abiteboul welcomed the plan and said he hoped it would be a step in the right direction for fans.

"Anything that can improve the noise is welcome and I am happy with it," he told Motorsport.com. "I don't want to be negative. I just hope that it is going to be enough."

nisam našao nažalost...Doduše, kod njihovih se onboard snimki ni ne vidi jer su kamere jako visoko. Kod Mercedesa se vidi samo prednji rub krila, dok kod Ferrarija nismo ni imali pogled sa nosa ako se ne varam.
